Chalkboard Birthday Cake

SKILL LEVEL: Easy
1. Ice the cake in white icing.
2. Gently peel the Black Chevron Sweet Shapes® fondant strips from the backing sheet.
3.Carefully adhere two sets of strips to the side of the cake and align the strips end to end to wrap the design around the cake.
4.Apply the Black Happy Birthday plaque, bunting triangles and pink birthday hat and balloon to the top of the cake.
5. Mix a batch of black icing using Black Premium Gel Color and a #8 Piping Tip to pipe a bottom border.
6. Use a #4 Piping Tip to write an inscription and a #2 Piping Tip to pipe the strings on the balloons and the string for the bunting.
