Naked Chocolate Cake

SKILL LEVEL: Easy

1. Bake, cool, and level your cakes.

2. Prepare two different shades of purple icing. Combine Violet and Neon Bright Pink Premium Gel Color to white icing to get the darker shade. For the lighter shade, add white icing to the darker mixture until you reach the shade you like.

3. Set the first of the three cakes onto a cake plate. Using an open coupler and the darker of the purple icing, pipe dollops of icing around the rim of the top. Continue this process until the entire top is covered.

4. Place the next layer of cake on top of the icing. Using the lighter of the purple icing and an open coupler, follow the same process with this layer.

5. Add the top layer of cake.

6. Add Royal Icing roses to the top and side of the cake where desired with a dot of icing.

8. Make green icing using Neon Bright Green Premium Gel Color.

9. Pipe leaves to accent the roses.
